New Executive Chef to Join The Butcher & The Bar
We are pleased to announce that Chef Jessie Steele is joining The Butcher & The Bar as our new Executive Chef. Jessie has over 20 years’ experience at some of the best kitchens in the area, primarily in Delray Beach. We are excited to have him a bit further north in Downtown Boynton Beach and cannot wait to see the many enhancements he will make to our menus.
Born in Fort Lauderdale and raised in Delray Beach, Chef Jessie Steele is a south Florida native with over 20 years of experience in some of the best kitchens in the area. Growing up cooking with his parents and grandparents from multiple cultures and constantly watching many various cooking shows on television, he developed an appreciation for many different types of cuisines which is reflected in his global approach to menu writing. A graduate of the Florida Culinary Institute where he was classically French trained, he learned from some of the best chef talent in the area including Chef Nick Morfogen of 32 East fame among others. As an Executive Chef he brings his creativity and love of fresh local produce and a fun twist on plant based cooking as well as a great command over the classics. In his free time you can find Jessie enjoying time off with his wife and three children, watching sports, specifically football and soccer, checking out local craft breweries, or even occasionally playing music with friends.
